Cooper scores 24 in Wilmington University’s 80-71 win over Holy Family

Wilmington leads by four points after one-half of play

The game started with Holy Family jumping out to a 6-0 lead with 18:14 left in the first half. Seconds later, the Wildcats would go on a 9-3 run, which would tie the game at nine with 13:47 left in the first half. The leader of this run was Kameron Cooper, who scored five of the nine points.

In the next ten minutes, Wilmington would outscore the Tigers 16-11 to give them a 25-20 lead with 2:57 left in the first half. The trio of Cooper, Danny Walsh, and Justin Thomas scored 15 of the 16 points during that time.
