CACC Quarterfinals: Wildcats earn 3-1 win over Goldey-Beacom to advance to Semifinals

Wilmington leads by one goal at the end of the first half

It did not take very long for the first goal to get on the board as Goldey-Beacom’s Alex Lowry found the net to give her team a 1-0 lead at the 3:19 minute mark.

Seven minutes later, Jimena Garcia Risoto would score a goal for the Wildcats to tie the game at one.

Thirteen minutes later,  Samantha Emmi would give Wilmington its first lead of the game by scoring her first goal of the day. Kasie Lambert assisted with Emmi’s goal.

Wildcats win 3-1!

The last goal of the game came at the 52:01 minute mark in the second half, when Lauren Hoelke found the net to help seal a 3-1 WilmU win. Julia Yuhase assisted with Hoelke’s goal.
