Genus scores two goals in Wildcats 8-0 win over Holy Family

The Wilmington University men’s soccer team earned their 12th win of the season on Tuesday as the team dominated the Holy Family University Tigers in an 8-0 victory.

The standouts in the game for the Wildcats were forward Pol Romero, midfielder Shawn Genus, forward Shoki Yoshida, defender Richard Thompson, midfielder Marcus Hedemann, forward Hakim Williams, defender Paul Young Jr., midfielder Arturo Serano, goalkeeper Yvan Moundou, and goalkeeper Konstantinos Parisis.

Romero had one assist.

Genus had four shots, four shots at the goal, two goals, and two assists.

Yoshida had one shot, one shot at the goal, and one goal.

Thompson had one shot, one shot at the goal, and one goal.

Hedemann had two shots, two shots at the goal, one goal, and one assist.

Williams had one shot, one shot at the goal, and one goal.

Young Jr had one shot, one shot at the goal, and one goal.

Serano had one shot, one shot at the goal, and one goal.

Parisis allowed zero goals in 45 minutes of play.

Moundou allowed zero goals in 45 minutes of play.
