The Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference announced on Monday that Goldey-Beacom Volleyball’s Shayla Boyce and Lindsay Przywara earned weekly honors from the conference for their play in the opening weekend of the season.
Boyce was tabbed Rookie of the week by the CACC and that was thanks to posting 31 kills, one assist and six digs in opening three game tournament this past weekend.
Przywara named to the weekly CACC honor roll, after having 40 kills, one assist, five service aces and 26 digs in opening three game tournament this past weekend.
Goldey-Beacom opened the season with a 3-1 win over Salem but lost the next two games in the Kutztown Classic tournament to New York Tech and Kutztown.
Lightning’s next opponent will be Millersville at Millersville, Pennsylvania on August 29th at 7 PM ET.
