Goldey-Beacom wins 1-0!
The Lightning would score only one run in the second game of the doubleheader, but that was all they would need as the team took home a 1-0 win.
Goldey-Beacom’s lone run came in the bottom of the first inning when Morgan Scott pushed a run home when she had a sac fly to give her team a 1-0 lead.
Pitching Recap:
Junior starting pitcher Morgan McLane had a solid day on the mound, as she went six innings, gave up six hits, one walk, struck out three batters, and earned the win.
Abigail O’Shields would close the game out, as she went one inning, struck three batters out, and earned the save.
