Game Two Leaders:

Game Two Recap:
Wilmington was roaring to go in game two, as the team scored three runs on four hits to grab a 3-0 lead in the first inning.
Taylor Gillis led the inning off by hitting a solo home run to center field to give her team a 1-0 advantage.
Three batters later, Sara Miller would hit an RBI double down the left field line to give the Wildcats a 2-0 edge.
A couple of batters later, Haley Downin would slap a two-out RBI single through the right side of the field to give WilmU a 3-0 lead in the bottom of the first inning.
Wilmington’s pitching would do the rest by only allowing four hits from the Georgian Court batters for the rest of the game to seal a 3-0 victory and earning the Wildcats the title of 2023 CACC CHAMPIONS!
Pitching recap:
Sophomore pitcher Kylee Gunkel had all the right pitches in this outing, as she went seven innings, gave up five hits, struck four batters out, and earned the win.
