In the bottom of the fifth inning, Wilmington would roar back with Eddie Parry hitting a two-out RBI single to left field to give his team a 3-2 advantage.
WilmU would add one last run in the sixth inning when Dom Grady hit an RBI single through the right side of the field to push the score to 4-2.
Wilmington’s pitching would do the rest to seal a 4-2 win over the Griffins.
Pitching recap:

Junior pitcher Tyler Brown came in for Reinert, as he went 1.2 innings, one walk, hit one batter, and earned the win.
Eddie Parry would close the game out, as he went one inning, gave up one walk, and earned the save.
