Hannesbo’s late goal earns Wilmington University a 1-0 victory over West Chester

The Wilmington University men’s soccer team earned their eighth win of the season on Wednesday with a 1-0 victory over the West Chester University Golden Rams.

The standouts in the game for the Wildcats were junior midfielder Yohan Kim, sophomore midfielder Marcus Hedemann, freshman Malthe Hannesbo,  and sophomore goalkeeper Bas Markus.

Kim had two shots, two shots at the goal, and one assist in the win.

Hedemann had two shots and one assist in the game.

Hannesbo had two shots, one shot at the goal, and scored one goal in the win.

Markus allowed zero goals in 90 minutes and had one save in the game.
