DSU leads by 22 at end of the first half
Delaware State came out ready to play in this one as the team went on a 25-2 run to take the lead with 9:43 left in the first half. Dominik Fragala was a key part of this run as he scored eight of the Hornets’ first ten points. Fragala was certainly feeling it on the run as he drained back to back three points shots.
DSU would add 12 more points to score as the team had a 37-15 lead at the end of the first half.
Hornets win 80-41!
The second half opened up with Cairn fighting back into this game as the team outscored Delaware State 8-4 to cut the lead to 41-23 with 17:18 left in the game. Ultimately it did not matter as the Hornets outscored the Highlanders 43-26 in the second half, which included the team going on a 10-0 run. The scoring party, DSU had in the second half helped seal an 80-41 win!
