Game Two Stats (6-4 win vs Concordia )
The RBIs in the game came from Isabella Eleazar (1), Annie Davila (1), Sara Miller (1), and sophomore first baseman Kiersten Comer (2).
Four Wildcats had runs in the win, which were Eleazar (1), Miller (3), Comer (1), freshman infielder Danielle Hess (1).
The Wilmington hitters gained 11 hits in the win, which were Eleazar (2), Alyssa Velasquez (1), Davila (2), Haley Downin (1), Miller (2), Comer (2), and Hess (1).
Miller hit a home run and stole a base in the win.
On the pitching side, starting pitcher freshman Molly Dill went three innings, gave up five hits, two runs, two earned runs, one walk, and earned the win.
Haley Downin would relieve Dill as she went 0.2 innings, gave up two hits, two runs, hit a batter, and two earned runs.
After earning the win in game one, Renamarie Rocha would come in this one as she went 0.1 innings, gave up one hit, and one walk.
Once again, Alexandra Ballester would close out a game as she went three innings, gave up one hit, two strikeouts, and earned the save.
Game Two recap
Concordia strikes first in the opening inning
In the bottom of the first inning, things would go Concordia’s way as the team hit a triple, a single, and RBI single to give the team an early 1-0 lead.
Wilmington would tie the game up in the top of the second inning as Sara Miller hit a solo home run to the right field.

Wildcats add two more runs in the third inning
The top of the third inning would start with Danielle Hess hitting a single to center field.
Isabella Eleazar would be the next batter up as she hit a double to right-center field, which would allow Hess to score to give WilmU a 2-1 lead in the third inning.
Three batters later, Annie Davila would hit a single to left field, which would bring home Eleazar to give the Wildcats a 3-1 lead.
Each team added two runs in the fourth inning
The action in the top of the fourth inning started with Sara Miller earning a walk, and on the next play, she would steal second base.
Kiersten Comer would be the next batter as she hit a double to left-center field, which allowed Miller to score to push Wilmington’s lead to 4-1.
The last run of the inning came when Comer would score on a throwing error from the shortstop to extend the Wildcats’ lead to 5-1 in the fourth inning.

After giving up the one run in the first inning, starting pitcher Molly Dill would pitch two scoreless innings, but her day would be over after the third inning. Dill went three innings, gave up five hits, two runs, two earned runs, one walk, and earned the win.
Haley Downin would come in the game for Dill, for which she would only see four batters as she gave up two hits, two runs, hit a batter, and two earned runs.
Renamarie Rocha would come in this one as she went 0.1 innings, gave up one hit, and one walk.
The tough inning for Wilmington’s pitching allowed the Clippers to cut the lead to 5-4 in the bottom of the fourth.
Wildcats win 6-4
In the sixth inning, the Wildcats would get a little more breathing room in the lead as Kiersten Comer would hit a single, which allowed Sara Miller to score to give their team a 6-4 advantage.
In the seventh inning, it was all up to Alexandra Ballester to seal the 6-4 win, which she did just as she went three innings, gave up one hit, two strikeouts, and earned the save.
