The Goldey-Beacom College softball team would earn a sweep on Tuesday as the team picked up two wins over Holy Family University Tigers.

Goldey-Beacom grabs a two-run lead at the end of the second inning.
After neither lineup could get anything going in the first inning, the Lightning would change that in one swing in the bottom of the second.
Sophomore infielder Morgan Scott would give GBC a 2-0 lead when she smacked a two-run homer in the bottom of the second inning.
The Lightning takes home a 3-0 win!
Three innings later, Goldey-Beacom would put a little cushion in their lead, as junior infielder Bryn Bohmann would hit an RBI double to left field to give her team a 3-0 lead in the fifth inning.
Pitching Recap:
Senior starting pitcher Abigail O’Shields had the Holy Family Tigers searching for answers at the plate all day, as she went seven innings, gave up one hit, one walk, struck out 14 batters, and earned the win.
