The University of Delaware men’s basketball team has now won three straight games to start the season, as the team took down the Air Force Academy Falcons 65-57 on Sunday.
Senior forward Jyáre Davis led the Blue Hens in scoring with 21 points.
Two other Hens players who scored in double-digits were fifth-year guard Jalun Trent(11), and sophomore forward Tyler Houser (11).
Delaware had the advantage in multiple categories in the game, which included points off turnovers (11-5), turnovers (6-12), and steals (8-2).
The Blue Hens also bested Air Force from the three-point line, with the team shooting 33.3 %(6-18) and the Falcons shooting 28.6 % (6-21). Delaware was also the better team at the free-throw line in this game, as the team shot 75.0 %(15-20), and the Air Force shot 71.4 % (5-7).
