Judge’s 28 points help Goldey-Beacom pull away with a 104-96 win over Staten Island

The Goldey-Beacom College men’s basketball team picked up their first win of the season on Saturday as the team defeated the College of Staten Island Dolphins 104-96.

Sophomore guard Tyshon Judge led the Lightning in scoring in the win with 28 points.

Three other Goldey-Beacom players who scored in double digits in the win were sophomore guard David Aikens (23), freshman forward Zayon Marsh (19), and junior guard Ayshion Centeno (18).

The Lightning had the advantage in multiple categories in the game, which included points in the paint (52-26), points off of turnovers (29-21), second-chance points (22-3), fast-break points (31-12), bench points (51-47), rebounds (42-24), turnovers (16-22), and steals (15-9).
