Two second-half goals earn Wilmington University a 3-1 win over Felician

Wilmington University leads by one goal heading into halftime.

The story of the first half of this matchup was that the defense on both teams locked down the goals as no one could find a good shot of the net. In the first 30 minutes of the game, each team had one shot at the goal, and both went too high.

WilmU would score the first goal of this game at the 38:50 minute mark, as Gianna Bucs would find teammate Julia Yuhase, who found the net to give their team a 1-0 lead.

WilmU wins 3-1!

Seven minutes and 46 seconds into the second half of this matchup, Felician would finally get on the board, as Darla Kertesz would knock the ball into the goal to tie the game at one.

Almost ten minutes later, Wilmington would respond back by  Samantha Emmi scoring on a free kick from 30 yards out to give her team a 2-1 advantage.

The Wildcats did not waste any time scoring their next goal as Julia Yuhase would find Emilie Larsen, who found the net from ten yards out to seal a 3-1 win!
