Wilmington win 1-0!
In the first 17 minutes of this game, the Wildcats would get off two shots at the goal, but neither found their way in the net as one missed high, and the other was caught by Bloomfield’s goalkeeper Matthew Braun.
Near the 23rd minute, the Wildcats looked like they were on their way to a score when Marius Skattum Dahl was ready to fire one in the goal, but the Bears goalie would take down Skattum Dahl in the box. The take-down earned the WilmU midfielder a penalty kick, and Braun would get a yellow card.
After all the commotion, Skattum Dahl would nail the penalty kick, which went in the bottom right corner of the net to give Wilmington a 1-0 lead.
One goal was enough to pull out the win, as neither team found the net in the second half.
