Wilmington takes the early lead in the first half by scoring two goals
The first goal of this game came by a penalty kick from Wilmington’s Kasie Lambert, which gave her team a 1-0 at the 37:43 minute mark.
A minute later, Jimena Garcia Risoto would knock another goal in for the Wildcats to expand her team’s lead to 2-0. Anastasia Diakos would assist with Garica Risoto’s goal.
WilmU outshot Chestnut Hill 14-4 in the first half of this game.
Wildcats win 3-1!
After a silent first half for Chestnut Hill on the scoreboard, the team finally scored a goal at the 47:18 minute mark to cut the lead to 2-1.
Fifteen minutes later, Jimena Garcia Risoto would score her second goal of the game to seal a 3-1 Wilmington win. Krysta Memis and Kasie Lambert assisted with Garica Risoto’s goal.
