Hoelke scores two goals in Wilmington’s 4-0 win over Georgian Court

WilmU takes a two-goal lead in the first half

Wilmington did not waste any time in this game as they knocked a goal in for a score at the 10:40 minute mark. Krysta Memis was the one who found the net first for the team to put them up 1-0. Jimena Garcia Risoto assisted with Memis’s goal.

Nine minutes later, Risoto would score a goal herself with the ball flicked over the top of Georgian Court’s goalkeeper to give the Wildcats a 2-0 lead. Manuela Restrepo assisted with Risoto’s goal.

The next goal for Wilmington would be at the 50:07 minute mark in the second half, as Lauren Hoelke would tap the ball in the net to give her team a 3-0 lead. Emily Navarrete assisted with Hoelke’s goal.

Hoelke was not done yet as seconds later, she would score her second goal of the day to seal a 4-0 win for the Wildcats. Risoto assisted with Hoelke’s goal.
