Delaware scores one goal in the first period

The Blue Hens would start the scoring in the game as Sarah Iannuzzi found the goal at the 10:24 minute mark to give her team a 1-0 lead. Iannuzzi’s goal was assisted by senior defender Emily Kresho.

Hens add two more goals in the second period

Delaware’s second goal came after a penalty corner which would set up a score by Grace Hoepfner to give her team a 2-0 lead at the 18:46 minute mark. Hoepfner’s goal was assisted by junior forward Grace Miller and senior midfielder Femke Strien.

Five minutes later, Ashley Iannuzzi would find the net, which would give the Hens a 3-0 lead at the 23:59 minute mark.

Blue Hens add one more goal in the fourth period

As the minutes ticked off the clock, Delaware would add one last goal to their lead at the 57:27 minute mark.

At the 57:27 minute mark, Morgan Rigual would score a goal to give her team a 4-0 lead. Rigual’s goal was assisted by Femke Strien.

The Hens defense was solid in this game as the team did not let Towson get many good looks at the net and blocked a couple of attempts.
