The Wilmington University baseball team earned a split on Saturday with a 4-0 win in game two of their doubleheader versus the Post University Eagles. They lost the first game 16-6.

Wilmington University takes home a 4-0 win!

It was all about the two-run homers for the Wildcats in this one, as MJ Phillips started scoring for the team in the opening with a multi-run bomb and putting WilmU up 2-0.

Then, in the fourth inning, Brian Klumpp slugged a two-run homer to right field to seal a 4-0 win over Post.

Pitching Recap:

Freshman pitcher/outfielder Dylan Potero earned the win by going seven innings, giving up three hits, one walk, striking out 11, and hitting one batter.
