The Wilmington University women’s soccer team earned its fifth win of the season on Saturday, shutting out the University of Bridgeport Purple Knights, 2-0.

The Wildcats would get on the board first in this match as freshman forward Eboni Bradshaw found the net at the 14-minute mark to give her team a 1-0 edge. Freshman defender Indigo Kirk assisted on Bradshaw’s score.

Wilmington added another goal to their lead at the 61st minute mark when junior forward Sierra Bartley blasted the ball in for the score to give her team a 2-0 advantage. Eboni Bradshaw and Redshirt junior forward Evelyn Payne assisted on the goal.
