The Wilmington University men’s soccer team earned its fifth victory of the season on Wednesday with a 3-1 win over the Millersville University Marauders.

The Wildcats struck first in this match with Sophomore forward Jhamaleek Porter finding the upper right corner of the net with a bicycle kick in the front of the goal at the 25:43 minute mark to give his team a 1-0 edge. Ole Themsfeldt assisted on Porter’s score.
The Wildcats take home a 3-1 win!
Fast forward to the 59:49 minute mark, where WilmU graduate student Theo Faillon found the net to expand his team’s advantage to 2-0. Freshman midfielder Jacques Mason assisted on Faillon’s score.
Just minutes later, Alex Tarway extended the Cats’ lead to 3-0, with assistance from Senior midfielder Shuntaro Morimoto .
Around the 70-minute mark, Millersville would end their silence on the scoreboard, but Wilmington still took home a 3-1 win!

The standouts in the game for the Wildcats were Theo Faillon, Alex Tarway, Shuntaro Morimoto, Jacques Mason, Ole Themsfeldt, Jhamaleek Porter, and freshman goalkeeper Emil Lollike.
