The Wilmington University women’s soccer team moved its record to 4-0-2 with a dominating 5-0 win over the Dominican University of New York Chargers on Saturday.

The Wildcats struck first when freshman forward Eboni Bradshaw fired the ball into the top left corner of the net, giving Wilmington a 1-0 lead at the 10:51 mark. Redshirt junior forward Evelyn Payne provided the assist.
Around the 21st minute, junior Cayley Winters found the back of the net to extend WilmU’s lead to 2-0.
Twelve minutes later, freshman forward Laila Williams took a shot that was initially blocked, but she collected the rebound and scored to give the Wildcats a 3-0 advantage.

Wilmington expanded its lead to 4-0 when redshirt junior defender Maria Leguizamon headed the ball in for the score around the 66-minute mark. Cayley Winters assisted on Leguizamon’s score.
In the last few minutes of the game, Evelyn Payne would knock one in for a score to give WilmU a 5-0 win over Dominican (N.Y.). Junior forward Sierra Bartley assisted on Payne’s score.

The standouts in the game for the Wildcats were Eboni Bradshaw, Evelyn Payne, Cayley Winters, Laila Williams, Maria Leguizamon, Sierra Bartley, and goalkeepers, junior Arianna Myers and Redshirt sophomore Isabella Mazzone.
Bradshaw had one shot, one shot at the goal, and scored one goal in the game.
Payne had three shots, one shot at the goal, scored one goal, and had one assist in the win.
Winters had one shot, one shot at the goal, scored one goal, and had one assist in the game.
Williams had two shots, one shot at the goal, and scored one goal in the victory.
Leguizamon had one shot, one shot at the goal, and scored in the win.
Bartley had seven shots, four shots at the goal, and one assist in the game.
Myers allowed zero goals and had one save in 45 minutes of the game.
Mazzone allowed zero goals and had five saves in 45 minutes of the game.
