The Wilmington University men’s soccer team earned its fourth victory of the season on Saturday with a 3-2 comeback win over the Dominican University of New York Chargers.

Wilmington struck first in this game, as graduate student forward Theo Faillon made a penalty kick to give his team a 1-0 edge at the 34:26 minute mark.
Dominican (N.Y.) responded at the end of the first half with a goal of their own to tie the game up at one at halftime.
Wilmington University takes home a 3-2 win!
Just over two minutes into the second half, the Chargers struck again, taking a 2-1 lead.
Close to the 62-minute mark, the Wildcats punched back to tie the game up at two, when Graduate student midfielder Tyrese Small knocked the ball in the net. Faillon assisted with Small’s score.
At the 87:40 minute mark, Freshman midfielder Jacques Mason pushed the ball in near the bottom of the net for the score to give the team a 3-2 victory over Dominican (N.Y.). Ole Themsfeldt assisted one Mason’s score.

The standouts in the game for the Wildcats were Theo Faillon, Tyrese Small, Jacques Mason, Ole Themsfeldt, and freshman goalkeeper Emil Lollike.
Faillon had five shots, three shots at the goal, scored one goal, and had one assist in the win.
Small had two shots, one shot at the goal, and scored one goal in the game.
Mason had four shots, two shots at the goal, and scored one goal in the win.
Themsfeldt had one assist in the victory.
Lollike, allowed two goals and had two saves in 90 minutes in the win.
