The Wilmington University women’s soccer team earned a tie on Friday against the Saint Anselm Hawks with a score of 1-1.

The Wildcats didn’t take long to light up the scoreboard, as around the eighth minute, freshman forward Eboni Bradshaw blasted the ball in the net to give her team a 1-0 edge. Junior forward Sierra Bartley assisted on Bradshaw’s score.
In the final seconds of the first half, Saint Anselm would find the back of the net to tie the game up at one, and that’s how it would stay as neither team scored in the second.
The Hawks outshot WilmU 15-5 in the game.
Stats and standouts:
The standouts in the game for the Wildcats were Eboni Bradshaw, Sierra Bartley, and junior goalkeeper Arianna Myers.
Bradshaw had two shots, two shots at the goal, and scored one goal in the game.
Bartley had two shots and one assist in the tie.
Myers allowed one goal and had three saves in 90 minutes of the game.
