Our 2024-2025 season player review series continues with the University of Delaware men’s basketball team as the spotlight turns to Freshman guard Izaiah Pasha.
Pasha was fourth on the team in scoring, with 11.9 points per game.
The UD freshman guard was a reliable scorer for the Hens this year, recording double-digits in 23 games. Pasha also scored over 20 points in three games.
The Pennsylvania native’s season-high in points came in the 98-88 win over N.C. A&T on January 9th, where he had 22 points. He made seven of his 11 shots and nailed eight of nine free throws.
Another highlight performance for Pasha came on November 23rd versus Vermont, where he had 20 points. He made seven of his nine shots, hit both three-pointers (2-2), and drained all four free throws.
The Blue Hen guard knew how to put his teammates in the best position to score, leading the team in assists per game with 3.9. He hit a season-high of nine assists three times this year, the first one happened on February 15th versus Campbell, and then a couple of days later (20th) against Drexel. The last one came in the CAA Quarterfinal 79-62 win over Campbell.
Opposing scorers did not want to see the Harrisburg native near the basket on defense, landing second on the team in blocks per game with 0.6.
Pasha averaged 11.9 points per game, 4.2 rebounds, and 3.9 assists in 34 games.
