Our 2024-2025 season player review series continues with the Goldey-Beacom College women’s basketball team as the spotlight turns to senior guard Julie Kulesza.
Kulesza led the team in scoring this season, with 14.9 points per game.
The Goldey-Beacom guard made scoring look easy this season, recording double-digits in 23 games. She also netted four 20-point games and two 30-point games this year.
Kulesza’s season-high in points came on December 18th in a 72-69 win over St. Thomas Aquinas, where she had 31 points. She made 12 out of her 21 shots, two of her four attempts from the three-point line, and knocked down five of seven free throws. The Lightning senior also recorded a double-double that night by collecting ten rebounds.
Another highlight game came on February 22nd in a 71-68 victory over Holy Family, where the Delaware native scored 30 points. She made nine of her 18 shots, two of her three tries from the three-point line, and drained ten of 12 free throws.
Kulesza was one of the top rebounders for GBC this season, landing third on the team in rebounds per game with 5.1. She recorded double-digits in rebounds in two games this year.
The Goldey-Beacom guard might of scored a lot, but she made sure her teammates did too, leading the program in assists per game with 3.3. She had three games this year with six assists. Kulesza also recorded seven assists in one matchup this season.
The Wilmington, native averaged 14.9 points per game, 5.1 rebounds, and 3.3 assists in 29 games.
