Our 2024-2025 season player review series continues with the Goldey-Beacom College men’s basketball team as the spotlight turns to Junior guard Shane Taylor.
Taylor was fourth on the team in scoring with 11 points per game this season.
The junior guard was a walking bucket this season, recording double-digits in points in 17 games. He also posted over 20 points in two games this year.
One of Taylor’s highlight performances came on January 25th in an 86-82 win over Bridgeport, when he scored a season-high 22 points. He made nine of his 13 shots and drained four of six tries from the three-point line.
Another good shooting night for the Lightning guard came on January 28th in an 80-71 win over Holy Family, where he recorded 14 points. Taylor made five of his nine shots and four of his six attempts from the three-point line.
The Maryland native averaged 11 points per game, 2.8 rebounds, and one assist in 28 games.
