The Wilmington University women’s soccer team closed their regular season with a 2-1 win over the Goldey Beacom College Lightning.

Wilmington University takes a 2-0 lead in the first half.
The Wildcats struck first in this match when Graduate forward Jordan Siok found the back of the net at the eight-minute mark to give her team a 1-0 lead.
Senior defender Brianna Wons gave the team a 2-0 edge when she hit a penalty kick at the 11-minute mark.
The Wildcats take home a 2-1 victory!
Goldey-Beacom would get the only score of the second half, as Lexy Yeager found the net around the 58-minute mark to slice the deficit to 2-1.
Wilmington would hang on to win 2-1 over the Lightning.
