The Wilmington University women’s soccer team earned their 11th win of the season on Saturday with a 2-1 victory over the University of Bridgeport Purple Knights.

Wilmington University leads by one at the end of the first half.
The Wildcats would get on the board first in this match, as sophomore Evelyn Payne found the back of the net at the 17th-minute mark to give her team a 1-0 lead. Redshirt sophomore defender Maria Leguizamon assisted Payne on the goal.
The Wildcats take home a 2-1 win!
Around the 66th-minute mark, Bridgeport’s Kristi Jazdzewski would tie the game up at one.
Evelyn Payne would score the game-winning goal at the 86th-minute mark to give WilmU a 2-1 victory. Graduate forward Jordan Siok assisted on Payne’s goal.
