Brianna Wons scores four times in Wilmington University’s 6-0 win over Lincoln (PA)

The Wilmington University women’s soccer team earns their tenth victory of the season on Tuesday with a dominating 6-0 win over the Lincoln University (PA) Lions.

Wilmington University leads by four at the end of the first half.

The Wildcats would strike first in this match, as senior defender Brianna Wons gave her team a 1-0 lead when she made her penalty kick around the three-minute mark.

Fifteen minutes later, Wons was back at it again when she found the back of the net to extend WilmU’s edge to 2-0. Freshman defender Zoey Lappin assisted on Wons’ score.

Graduate forward Jordan Siok joined the scoring party by rocketing the ball into the goal to expand her team’s advantage to 3-0 around the 27-minute mark.

In the later minutes of the first half, Wons would earn a hat-trick by scoring her third goal of the game to give Wilmington a 4-0 lead. Senior forward Gianna Bucs assisted on the score.

The Wildcats take home a 6-0 win!

The Lions could not contain Brianna Wons on this day. Around the 58-minute mark, she knocked in her fourth goal of the day to push the Cats’ edge to 5-0. Senior defender Ellie Lawrence assisted on Wons’ score.

In the last minutes of the game, graduate student defender Alexa Pacheco would wrap the win up with a goal of her own to seal a 6-0 win over Lincoln. Senior forward Gianna Bucs earned her second assist of the match on Pacheco’s score.
