The Goldey-Beacom men’s soccer team earned their fifth victory of the season on Tuesday with a 2-0 win over the Jefferson University Rams.

The Lightning would strike first on the scoreboard in this game, but it would come from a Jefferson miscue. It would happen at the fifth-minute mark when the Rams had an own goal against themselves, which gave GBC the gift of leading 1-0.
