The Goldey-Beacom women’s soccer team earned their third victory of the season on Saturday with a 2-1 win over the Felician University Golden Falcons.

Goldey-Beacom leads by one at the end of the first half.
The Lightning struck first in this match, as junior defender Sofia Bolado Vega found the back of the net in the 17th minute to give her team a 1-0 lead. Senior defender/midfielder Alex Lowry assisted on Bolado Vega’s goal.
The Lightning takes home a 2-1 victory!
Fast-forward to the 49-minute mark, when Felician’s Cynthia Amankwaa blasts the ball in the net to tie the game at one.
Goldey-Beacom would find the winning goal of the game at the 77th-minute mark, when freshman forward Ryley Dixon fed her teammate junior defender Kaitlyn Nolan the ball from the right side, which allowed Nolan to knock it in for a score to seal a 2-1 victory over the Golden Falcons.
