The University of Delaware’s football team moved to 4-0 on the season with a dominating 49-0 victory over the Sacred Heart University Pioneers on Saturday.
The offensive standouts in the game for Delaware were senior quarterback Zach Marker, freshman quarterback Braden Streeter, sophomore running back Saeed St. Fleur, senior running back Quincy Watson, senior wide receiver Phil Lutz, freshman wideout Sean Wilson, and senior tight end Caleb Fauria.
Marker completed 17 of his 27 passes for 183 yards for three touchdowns in the win.
Streeter completed six of his seven passes for 56 yards for one touchdown in the victory.
St. Fleur rushed for 39 yards on six carries with one touchdown in the game.
Watson rushed for 24 yards on six carries with one touchdown in the win.
Lutz had two receptions for 62 yards with one touchdown in the game.
Wilson had two receptions for 31 yards with two touchdowns in the win.
Fauria had two receptions for 10 yards with one touchdown in the game.
On the defensive side, sophomore defensive back Anthony Crenshaw Jr. would lead the team in tackles with eight. The Hens had five sacks in the game, which came from sophomore defensive back KT Seay (1), linebacker Ty Davis (1), Graduate student defensive back Jason Scott (1), senior defensive lineman Keyshawn Hunter (1), and junior defensive lineman Melkart Abou-Jaoude (1). Senior defensive back Nate Evans snagged an interception in the win. Scott forced a fumble and Graduate student defensive lineman Ethan Saunders recovered the fumble and scored.
