Goldey-Beacom would get that run back in the bottom of the inning when Christian Petrillo pushed a run home with a Sac Fly to center field to give his team a 6-1 edge.
GBC takes a seven-run lead at the end of the fourth inning.
The Chargers would slice the lead to three runs (6-3) in the top of the fourth inning when Jake Chaisongkram slugged a two-run homer to center field.
Goldey-Beacom would answer back in the bottom of the inning, as the team scored four runs on three hits to take a 10-3 advantage.
Junior catcher Nick Harkins started the scoring in the bottom of the fourth, as he hit an RBI single to center field to push the Lightning’s lead to 7-3.
Christian Petrillo would come up to the plate next, as he smoked a three-run homer to left field to give his team a 10-3 lead.
Goldey-Beacom takes home an 11-3 win!
GBC would add one more run to their lead in the sixth inning, as Senior infielder Michael Baginski hit an RBI single through the left side to give his team an 11-3 edge.
