Sara Miller records six RBIs in Wilmington University’s sweep of Bloomfield

Wilmington University takes a five-run lead in the first inning.

The Wildcats would strike first in the second game of the doubleheader as the team scored five runs on eight hits to take a 5-0 edge in the bottom of the opening inning.

 Senior infielder Lexi Moore,  junior outfielder Taylor Gillis, and sophomore infielder Cassidy Zelano would each record an RBI single in the inning.

Sara Miller would blast a two-run homer to center field in the scoring blitz in the second inning.

WilmU takes a ten-run lead in the third inning.

Wilmington would widen their lead in the bottom of the third, as the team scored five runs on five hits, and one error to take a 10-0 advantage.

Lexi Moore and Junior infielder Eve Serrato would each record an RBI single in the inning.

Sara Miller would record fourth RBI of the game with a two-run single in the third inning. Miller would also fly home in this inning on a throw.
