The Wilmington University softball picked up two wins on Saturday as the team swept the Post University Eagles 3-1 (Game One) and 9-2 (Game Two).

Wilmington University leads by one run at the end of the first inning.
Post would get on the board first in this game, as Samantha Riccardulli would knock an RBI single up the middle to give her team a 1-0 edge in the top of the opening inning.
WilmU wouldn’t be down for long, as Graduate student infielder Sam Freeland would push in a run when she grounded out to second base, and then senior right fielder Sara Miller followed that up with an RBI double to give their team a 2-1 advantage.
WilmU takes home a 3-1 win!
The Wildcats would add one more run to their total in the bottom of the fourth when Senior infielder Bri Coyle scored on a muffed throw by the Eagles third baseman to give her team a 3-1 lead.
Pitching Recap:
Senior starting pitcher Haley Downin went seven innings, gave up six hits, one run, one earned run, struck out nine batters, and earned the win.
