Back to back walk off wins give Goldey-Beacom a sweep over Dominican (NY)

Goldey-Beacom trails by three runs at the end of the first inning.

Dominican (N.Y.) would strike first in the second game of the doubleheader, as Giovanna Salcido smoked a three-run homer to right center to give her team a 3-0 edge.

The Lightning would trail by one run at the end of the fourth inning.

The Chargers would widen their lead in the top of the fourth when Chloe McIntosh hit an RBI single to right field to push her team’s advantage to 4-0.

Goldey-Beacom would charge back in the bottom of the fourth, as Autumn Simpson and Senior catcher Gabriella Monzo would each record an RBI single, and Sophomore infielder Morgan Scott also pushed in a run with a double to slice the score to 4-3.

Goldey-Beacom takes home a walk-off 6-5 win!

Dominican (N.Y.) would grab back the lead in the top of the sixth inning when Madison Walker slapped an RBI single down the right-field line to give her team a 5-3 edge.

The Lightning would attack back in the bottom of the seventh inning, where the team scored three runs on four hits to take a 6-5 win.

 Freshman shortstop McKenna Frank would start the scoring off by hitting an RBI double to left field to cut the deficit to 5-4.

Senior outfielder Hannah Davis would come up to the plate next and smoke a RBI double to center field to tie the game up at five.

Three plays later, Autumn Simpson would end the game with a two-out RBI single up the middle to give her team a 6-5 victory.
