The first hit on the inning came from junior infielder Alex Lowry, who hit a triple to right center.
Sophomore infielder Morgan Scott would get Lowry home with a Sac fly to tie the game.
Goldey-Beacom takes home a 4-3 victory!
Bloomfield would break the tie in the top of the fourth inning when a fielding error helped Daniela Vidal get home to give her team a 2-1 advantage.
After the second inning, the Lightning’s bats went quiet for a while but would wake up in the bottom of the sixth when the team scored three runs on four hits to take a 4-2 lead.
McKenna Frank opened the inning with a solo home run to left field to tie the game at two.
Five batters later, Autumn Simpson would slap a two-run single through the left side to give her team a 4-2 edge.
The Bears would add one last run in the top of the seventh, but Goldey-Beacom would still take home a 4-3 victory.

Sophomore starting pitcher Alesia Doctor went one inning, gave up three hits, one run, one earned run, and struck out one batter.
Junior pitcher Wynter Radcliffe went five innings, gave up three hits, one run, struck out two batters, and earned the win.
Senior pitcher Abigail O’Shields closed out the game by going one inning, gave up one run, one walk, struck out three batters, and earned the save.
