The Wilmington University baseball team picked up two wins on Sunday as the team swept the Post University Eagles 9-6 (Game One) and 22-3 (Game Two).

Wilmington University leads by four runs at the end of the second inning.
Post would strike first in this game, as DJ Caron slugged a solo home run to left field to give his team a 1-0 edge in the top of the first inning.
The Wildcats would answer back in the bottom of the inning by scoring four runs on two hits to take a 4-1 lead.
Freshman outfielder Brandon Grygo would start the scoring off in the inning as he went home on a wild pitch.
Two batters later, junior outfielder Kory Pritchard came up to the plate and smacked an RBI double down the right-field line to give his team a 2-1 advantage.
Junior outfielder Trevor Adamo would push in the next run with a Sac Fly to take the score to 3-1 in the bottom of the first.
Senior second baseman Erik Grady would get a runner home when he grounded out to give the Cats a 4-1 lead.
The Wildcats would add another run in the second when Brandon Grygo scored on a throwing error by the catcher to give his team a 5-1 advantage.
The Wildcats trailed by one at the end of the fourth inning.
The Eagles would punch back in the top of the fourth inning by scoring five runs on four hits to grab a 6-5 edge.
Some of the scoring highlights in the inning for Post were when Brian Zweigbaum hit a two-run double and Michael Pavelchak knocked a two-run single through the left side.
Wilmington University takes home a 9-6 victory!
After losing the lead in the fifth inning, the Wildcats would tie the game up at six when sophomore infielder Tyler Pirrung got a runner home with a Sac fly in the bottom of the sixth inning.
Two innings later, WilmU would walk home with a 9-6 victory when the team scored three runs on three hits and one error.
The inning opened with sophomore first baseman Mason DeLuca slapping a single through the left side.
Three plays later, freshman shortstop Justin Hernandez would reach base on a bunt single to the pitcher.
Brandon Grygo would come up to the plate and end the game with a three-run homer to give his team a 9-6 win.
Pitching Recap:
Freshman starting pitcher Chase Fleming went 3.2 innings, gave up six hits, six runs, six earned runs, and two walks, struck six batters out, and gave up one home run.
The bullpen consisted of four relievers, who combined to give up two hits and struck out two batters.
Freshman pitcher Garrett Quinn closed out the game by going two innings, giving up two hits, striking out one batter, and earning the win.
