The Goldey-Beacom College softball team would earn a sweep on Wednesday as the team picked up two wins over the Jefferson University Rams.

Goldey-Beacom takes home a 1-0 win!
The two starting pitchers in this game brought their best stuff in the first five innings, as Jefferson’s Gianna DeLorenzo and Abigail O’Shields would only give up a combined four hits during that time.
Senior outfielder Hannah Davis would score the winning run of this game in the bottom of the sixth inning when she went home on a throwing error by the Rams catcher to give the Lightning a 1-0 lead.
Pitching Recap:
Abigail O’Shields went seven innings, gave up one hit, struck out nine batters, and earned the win.
