Game Recap:

Wilmington University takes a one-run lead in the third inning.

The two lineups could not get much going in the first two innings of this game, as the starting pitchers only let a combined one hit through.

WilmU would change that in the bottom of the third inning as the team scored one run on two hits to take a 1-0 lead.

The scoring play happened when junior outfielder Taylor Gillis got on base with a single, but junior outfielder Tristyn Stewart advanced to third and then scored from a throw to take the score to 1-0.
