Wilmington University takes home a one-run lead after three innings of play.
After not getting a run home in the first two innings of the second game of the doubleheader, WilmU would push to get a runner in when Taylor Gillis hit into a sac fly to give her team a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the third.
WilmU takes a two-run lead after the fourth inning.
Wilmington would add another run to their lead in the bottom of the fourth when senior first baseman Julia Thuer hit an RBI triple to right field to push her team’s advantage to 2-0.
Wildcats take home an 8-0 victory!
WilmU would continue to widen their lead in the bottom of the fifth, as Taylor Gillis, Julia Thuer, junior catcher Emma Zimmerman, Junior outfielder Tristyn Stewart each hit an RBI double, and senior right fielder Sara Miller would slug a two-run homer to their team an 8-0 win.

Redshirt sophomore starting pitcher Delani Sheehan had the Golden Falcons hitters confused all game, as she went five innings, gave up three hits and one walk, struck out four batters, and earned the win.
