The score would be tied at 37 at the end of the first half.

Seconds later, Felician would answer back by outscoring the Lightning 14-4 to grab a 16-15 edge with 13:07 left in the first half.
Fast forward to the 5:30 minute mark, where Marsh would have a layup go-in to give GBC a 30-29 advantage.
Then, at the 3:02 minute mark, Caleb Bates would slam the bucket home, as his made dunk would push the Lightning’s lead to four points (37-33).
The Golden Falcons would punch back by scoring four straight points to end the opening half by tying the score at 37.

In the first five minutes of the second half, the two teams would trade the lead back and forth like a ping pong on a table, as GBC would finally get an edge with some comfort at the 14:59 minute mark with Nazim Derry draining a three-pointer. Then Zayon Marsh made a layup to give their team a 52-49 advantage.
Fast forward to the 7:29 minute mark, where Omari Banks would get a layup to go in to give Goldey a nine-point lead (71-62).
Nineteen seconds later, Felician would respond by going on a 14-6 run to slice the deficit to one point (77-76) with 2:58 left in the game.
Goldey-Beacom would outscore the Golden Falcons 8-4 for the rest of the second half to seal an 85-80 victory.
