The Goldey-Beacom College men’s basketball team earned their 12th win of the season on Saturday with an 85-80 victory over the Felician University Golden Falcons.
Sophomore forward Zayon Marsh led the team in scoring in the win with 18 points.
Four other Goldey-Beacom players who scored in double digits in the win were senior guard Nazim Derry (16), sophomore forward Caleb Bates (15), sophomore guard Omari Banks (11), and senior guard Damani Thomas (10).
The Lightning had the advantage in multiple categories in the game, which included second-chance points (14-4), bench points (23-13), rebounds (39-33), assists (15-10), and blocks (2-1).
Goldey-Beacom also had the advantage in shooting, with the team shooting 52.4%(33-63) and Felican shooting 47.2%(34-72). The Lightning also bested the Golden Falcons from the three-point line, with the team shooting 45.8%(11-24) and Felician shooting 31.6%(6-19).
