Rory Ciszkowski scores 32 points in Goldey-Beacom’s 78-46 win over Wilmington University

Goldey-Beacom leads by 11 at the end of the first quarter.

The Lightning would strike first in the opening quarter, as the team would take a commanding 18-7 heading into the second. 

Karlee Lemon and Rory Ciszkowski were hard duo to stop during that run, scoring 14 of the team’s 18 points.

GBC’s defense was also strong during this stretch, as the unit had two blocks, nine defensive rebounds, and three steals. 

Believe it or not, in the first five minutes of this game, the two teams were trading buckets back and forth, with Goldey finally taking hold of the lead at the 4:58 minute mark by a score of 5-4. 

The Lightning would hold a 21-point lead at the end of the first half. 

Goldey-Beacom would continue to pour on the points in the second quarter, as they outscored Wilmington 17-7 to push their edge to 35-14.

Janiya Stevens and Rory Ciszkowski showed off during that stretch, as the duo scored 12 of the team’s 17 points.

GBC’s defense also remained strong in the period, with the unit collecting 14 defensive rebounds, one block, and two steals. 

GBC would hold a 22-point lead at the end of the first half.

Fast forward to the 6:32 minute mark of the third quarter when Farrah White drained a three-pointer to expand Goldey’s lead to 24 points (43-19).

The Lightning would score 11 more points in the third to hold a 54-32 advantage heading into the fourth.

Goldey-Beacom takes home a 78-46 victory!!

GBC would put this game away in the final quarter by outscoring the Wildcats 24-14 to seal a 78-46 win!

Janiya Stevens, Farrah White, and Rory Ciszkowski were in command of the offense during this run, as the trio scored 15 of the team’s 24 points.
