Martaz Robinson scores 24 points in Delaware State’s 67-63 overtime win over Maryland Eastern Shore

The Delaware State University men’s basketball team earned their tenth win of the season on Saturday with a 67-63 overtime victory over the University of Maryland Eastern Shore Hawks.

Senior guard Martaz Robinson led the team in scoring in the win with 24 points.

 Two other DSU players who scored in double-digits were freshman guard Deywilk Tavarez (19), and sophomore guard Jevin Muniz (13).

Delaware State had the advantage in multiple categories in the game, which included second-chance points (14-6), fast-break points (9-5), assists (10-8), and turnovers (14-17).

DSU also had the advantage in shooting, with the team shooting 41.5 % (22-53) and Maryland Eastern Shore shooting 37.3 %(22-59).
