The Wilmington University men’s basketball team earned their tenth win of the season on Saturday with a 95-90 victory over the Felician University Golden Falcons.
Sophomore guard Marcus Pierce led the team in scoring in the win with 23 points.
Four other Wilmington players who scored in double digits in the win were senior guard Taalib Holloman (19), Graduate student Caleb Matthews (15), senior guard Amiri Stewart (17), and junior forward Asher Kemble (15).
WilmU had the advantage in multiple categories in the game, which included points in the paint (38-36), second-chance points (10-8), assists (17-15), rebounds (38-30), and blocks (3-2).
Wilmington University also had the advantage in shooting, with the team shooting 58.9%(33-56) and Felician shooting 52.4%(33-63). WilmU also had the advantage at the free-throw line, as the team shot 72.0%(18-25), and the Golden Falcons shot 40.0%(12-30).
