Three Blue Hens score in double-digits in 73-69 victory over Robert Morris

The University of Delaware men’s basketball team earned their seventh win of the season on Monday with a 73-69 victory over the Robert Morris University Athletics Colonials.

Senior forward Jyáre Davis led the team in scoring in the win with 17 points.

Two other Hens players who scored in double-digits were Graduate Student guard Gerald Drumgoole Jr. (15) and Fifth-year guard Christian Ray (14).

Delaware had the advantage in multiple categories in the game, which included points in the paint (28-16), bench points (11-8), rebounds (34-33), assists (15-10), and steals (8-7).

UD also had the advantage in shooting, with the team shooting 47.8 %(22-46) and Robert Morris shooting 39.7 %(23-58). The Blue Hens also bested the Colonials from the free-throw line, with the team shooting 82.1 %(23-28) and the Robert Morris shooting 66.7 % (14-21).
