The Wilmington University men’s basketball team earned their fourth win of the season on Thursday with a 78-58 victory over the Kutztown University Bears.
Senior guard Taalib Holloman led the Wildcats in scoring in the win with 17 points.
Two other Wilmington who scored in double digits in the win were sophomore guard Brycen Williams (11), and junior center Nalik Veasley (14).
WilmU had the advantage in multiple categories in the game, which included fast-break points (14-6), points in the paint (40-30), points off of turnovers (19-10), turnovers (13-22), assists (20-11), steals (14-8),
Wilmington University also had the advantage in shooting, with the team shooting 48.4%(31-64) and Kutztown shooting 36.2%(21-58). The Wildcats were also the better team at the three-point line in this game, as the team shot 39.1%(9-23), and the Bears shot 27.8%(5-18).
