The Hornets’ offense would not slow down in the third quarter, as the team would outscore the WilmU 33-9 to hold an 80-33 heading into the fourth.
Ja’Naiah Perkins-Jackson saw the basket so clear during this time as she scored 21 of Delaware State’s 33 points. She hit five shots from the three-point line in the third quarter.
Delaware State takes home a 108-39 victory!
Even with the huge double-digit lead, DSU would not hit the brakes, as the team outscored Wilmington 28-6 in the final quarter to seal a 108-39 win.
